List of Extended Bans
Extbans
Extended bans are set using: /mode #[channel] +b [extban]:[params]
As always, remove the brackets where applicable.
For example, /mode #chatspike +b m:*!*@*.aol.com to mute all AOL users in #chatspike.
Mode | Parameters | Description |
[ban mask] | Disallows users matching [ban mask] to use the /INVITE command. | |
[ban mask] | Disallows users matching [ban mask] to use ALL CAPS IN THEIR MESSAGES. | |
[ban mask] | Prevents users matching [ban mask] to use colors (or colours, for you Brits and the like). | |
[ban mask] | Disallows users matching [ban mask] to CTCP the channel. | |
[#channel] | Prevents users inside [#channel] to join (or chat) in the current channel. | |
[ban mask] | Prevent users matching [ban mask] from speaking in the channel. | |
[ban mask] | Disallows users matching [ban mask] and are not identified to NickServ from speaking in the channel. | |
[ban mask] | Prevents users matching [ban mask] from changing their nickname. | |
[ban mask] | Prevents users matching [ban mask] from using the /KICK command. | |
[glob mask] | Prevents users with a real name (Gecos) which matches [glob mask] from joining. | |
[ban mask] | Disallows users matching [ban mask] and are not identified to NickServ from joining the channel. | |
[glob mask] | Prevents users on a server matching [glob mask] from joining the channel. | |
[ban mask] | Strips colors from users messages who match [ban mask]. | |
[ban mask] | Disallows users matching [ban mask] from noticing the channel. |
